Er is een sterke engel met een luide stem voor nodig!

“And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?” ~ Revelation 5:2

As stated already, the word “angel” designates the one sent from God to deliver a message to the people. These can be angels from God’s heaven, but more often they are ministers, humans who are servants of God, and proclaim God’s message from his holy Word. In this context, they do not declare the message timidly, but with authority and in the strength and anointing of the Holy Ghost.

“The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all. Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word. Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.” ~ Psalms 103:19-21

A true minister will declare that “only Jesus is worthy!” But true ministers also do not make room for sin in the lives of the people that they preach the gospel to! It has always been that way, and always will be that way as long as this earth exists.

“Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.” (Isaiah 58:1)

Their voice is loud as a trumpet. Trumpets were used to alarm and warn the people in time of war. A true minister today sounds the gospel trumpet to alarm and warn people to the great spiritual battle that is ahead!

“And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!” (Revelation 8:13)

Trumpets also were used to call the people together to the true and faithful worship of almighty God.

“And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.” (Revelation 14:6-7)

If you are living a holy life of obedience to Jesus Christ, you don’t have to worry about the preached judgments of a true minister of God. You can actually rest and be at peace in your soul because the battle is on the outside, and no longer on the inside, within your heart. Because you have fully given your heart to Jesus Christ and you are fully and faithfully devoted to Him!

“And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.” (II Thessalonians 1:7-10)

Are you ready in your soul for the day of vengeance?
