The Ungodly Are Being Sacrificed to Deception - The Revelation of Jesus Christ

Are you satisfied to live your life for yourself, with no conscience towards your need for Jesus Christ? Are you satisfied to be a nominal ”Christian” being religious but still harboring sin in your soul and life? If this is all you really want, then Jesus will give you over to that. And if your heart is so hard that you can no longer sense the Holy Spirit dealing with your heart, your heart will be sacrificed to some other deception.

You don’t ignore the full truth of Jesus Christ without serious consequences.

The “fowls that fly in the midst of heaven” are the evil religious spirits that are waiting to deceive and destroy your soul. In another place in Revelation, they are described as a cage of hateful birds that hate the truth.

“And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.” ~ Revelation 18:2

After spiritual warnings have gone out about the evil spirits that attend sin-laden false “Christianity”, and you ignore those warnings, the cage doors of the hateful birds are opened to you. Then these deceitful spiritual leaders are “released” to devour your soul. There is no hope for you if God has given you over to deception!

“Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” ~ 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12

It doesn’t matter who you think you are, or what you have accomplished in life. Who you have authority over, or who is your leader. The question is: “is Jesus your Lord and King in truth?” Or are you being set up for the great final spiritual sacrifice to be burned?

“And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.” ~ Revelation 19:17-18

The prophecy concerning this type of spiritual sacrifice has gone forth for many years, even in the Old Testament. So this should not be a surprise.

“And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord God ; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood. Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan. And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you. Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord God. And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.” ~ Ezekiel 39:17-21

In the Old Testament this judgement was pronounced upon those who claimed to be God’s people. But by disobedience they had forsaken God. And now they were just religious, going through religious forms.

Revelation has a number of places where it describes the significance and impact of Christian organizations being sacrificed to preverse spirits. First in Revelation chapter 9 it describes to us the warning of the sixth trumpet message. This message shows a huge audience of people, 1/3 of the world’s population, being deceived by false prophets. There is only one general category of people in the earth as large as 1/3 of all people, and that is the category of people that call themselves Christian. And what people identify as Christianity today is full of false doctrines and wicked people who are still operating with sin in their heart.

Then within Revelation chapter 16, were the vials of God’s final judgment message are poured out, we see spirits of deception being exposed.

“And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.” ~ Revelation 16:13-14

Modern day Christianity is full of this type of hypocrisy and deception, and has been for many years. Consequently, for many years this sacrifice to ungodly spirits has been going on already within churches that identify themselves as Christian.

Many people are claiming gifts of the “Holy Spirit” including the ability to speak in unknown tongues (although the Bible says nothing about a gift of unknown tongues). And yet they are still under the power of Satan’s temptations, and are found with sin in their life. So we have preachers that are adulterers, homosexuals, lesbians, and pedophiles, and they still have the ability to speak in unknown tongues. And consequently they are still accepted as preachers within their church denominations.

Truly many so-called Christian organizations, and their people, are being sacrificed to the deception of perverse spirits.

So this judgement today is especially against those claiming to be “Christian”, but yet their lives reflect the actual sinful heart they have inside. You are being gathered to the great and final spiritual warfare. The truth of Jesus Christ and his complete power to deliver from all sin, against the lies of Satan to keep you a sinner or a religious sinner. But Jesus and his true and faithful people, always win! The fakes are sacrificed to Satan’s wicked ones.

“And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.” ~ Revelation 19:19

The one sitting on the horse with many crowns, is Jesus Christ.

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.” ~ Revelation 19:11

And so, Jesus Christ executes his righteous judgement against all who refuse to serve him.

The beast started as the body of paganism that morphed into the Roman Catholic Church. The false prophet represents fallen Protestantism and every minister that has compromised the Word of God and deceived people with lies. The mark of the beast is the mark on the forehead representing a belief in false doctrine, and a mark of false fellowship in their right hand. The image of the beast started with fallen Protestant sects, and today represents the ecumenical gathering of mankind into one conglomerate body through the World Council of Churches and the United Nations.

They all will be cast into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. A similar judgement that happened to Sodom and Gomorrah in the Old Testament, except this judgement is eternal and the final one.

None will escape the Word of God, and their accountability to it.

“And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.” Revelation 19:21

The sword proceeding out of the mouth of Jesus Christ is the Word of God (see Ephesians 6:17 and Hebrews 4:12).

We all must choose which side of the spiritual battle we will end up on. And beware, because many that have started on the right side of the battle, ended up on the wrong side as they gave in to temptations or bitterness along the way. If you know Christ, stay true to him, and forever keep a heart and attitude of forgiveness towards those who will betray you and persecute you. This is the battle we must face and win! Stay with Jesus and you can make it!
