Ai Xứng Đáng Mở Sách?

Again, the proclamation of the strong angel was:

“Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?” ~ Revelation 5:2

If there is any message that is clear from a true minister of God: it is the total unworthiness of any person or minister to reveal the fullness of God to people. This privilege and ability is totally impossible without Jesus. He first had to die for us, then draw us in conviction and love, and then forgive us and cleanse us from our sins. Then he had to sanctify our nature so that the fullness of God and his love could reign supreme in our hearts and lives!

Without this work that only Jesus can do, the preaching of the gospel is futile, because the ministers will have no authority to preach. They would still be sinners themselves, and the people would only become christians in name only. This is exactly what has happened in so-called “Christianity” today. They attempt to open the Bible and preach from it, but they have never been set free themselves from their own sins by the power of Jesus Christ. Consequently, their gospel has no authority to transform the lives of others.

To get it right, both preachers and followers must be delivered from their sins; and only Jesus can do that!

Note: John the Baptist certainly was one “strong angel” who proclaimed this.

“And as the people were in expectation, and all men mused in their hearts of John, whether he were the Christ, or not; John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.” ~ Luke 3:15-17

The recognition of the total unworthiness of self is the only way we can even begin to approach Christ to ask for: forgiveness, for complete sanctification, or for any need.

“The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.” ~ Matthew 8:8

Even Moses, one of the highest respected individuals that ever lived, is not “worthy” next to Christ.

“Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house. For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.” ~ Hebrews 3:1-3

When we truly recognize our unworthiness, we will humble ourselves completely to forsake all our sins. To often the real problem is that people are just too proud to walk humbly with the Lord.
