Siapakah Sepuluh Tanduk Binatang Wahyu?

In previous posts I have thoroughly described how that the beasts of Revelation represent the collective body of people who are still living fleshly carnal lives of sin. They may be very religious, and they may even call themselves “Christian”, but their nature is fleshly like a beast. They are not living under the direction and power of holiness from the Holy Spirit. The spirit within them is ultimately selfish and will manifest itself as such under the pressure of difficulties and sinful temptations.

So the Beast of Revelation represents the collective sinful condition of mankind governed as one body (ultimately ruled by Satan’s spirit). But who do the horns on this Beast represent?

“And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.” ~ Revelation 17:12

These are not sovereign kings ruling over a sovereign kingdom, and who do not have to answer to any other authority. They exercise power like a king, but they are all ultimately subject to the cumulative authority of the beast which they are a part of (and to the harlot spiritual power that rides on this beast). This beast they are all part of and subject to is: the United Nations.

“These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.” ~ Revelation 17:13

So these together “receive power as kings one hour with the beast” for the purpose of resisting Jesus Christ and his followers. Similar to the “hour of the power of darkness” when they came to crucify Jesus.

“Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves? When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.” ~ Luke 22:52-53

Through what Jesus told his disciples, he also is telling us: that there will be “an hour of the power of darkness” when we will feel the world coming against us. But in that hour, the Holy Spirit will give us the words to fight a good spiritual fight of faith.

“And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.” ~ Matthew 10:18-20

So finally we are clearly given the clear purpose of this final beast power: it is the gathering of all sinful mankind in opposition to the true body of Christ, his faithful bride church.

“These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.” ~ Revelation 17:14

The rulers of this world have always gathered together to fight against Jesus Christ and his kingdom. They have done this from the beginning when they all agreed together to persecute and crucify Jesus Christ.

“The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ. For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together, For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done. And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.” ~ Acts 4:26-31

One of the ultimate purposes of Revelation is to clearly delineate the spiritual battle lines of the true church against the hypocritical church. And of the true church against the whole world. So one of the clear warnings early in Revelation is to the church: instructing Christians to be on guard, and assuring them that Jesus can keep them faithful and true during this hour of the power of darkness.

“Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” ~ Revelation 3:10-13

So in these final days we must know: Am I part of the spiritual new Jerusalem, the true church? Or am I part of the fleshly beast of mankind, still subject to the fleshly temptations of Satan? Of what kingdom am I a part of?
