सातौं शीशी हावामा खन्याइयो - यो सकियो!

“And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.” ~ Revelation 16:17

Why was the seventh and last vial of God’s wrath poured out into the air?

This last vial of judgement was poured out into the air because the air represents Satan’s spirit of disobedience.

“And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.” ~ Ephesians 2:1-3

When people choose to disobey the known commandments of God, they place themselves in the direction of God’s judgement wrath. Consequently they become children of wrath, hence the symbol of the vials of God’s wrath in Revelation 16. God is executing judgement upon everyone who is disobedient to his call to repent.

But in this final vial poured out on pure disobedience, the voice of God directly from his throne proclaims: “it is done.” To get to “it is done” though: it first took pouring out the six vials, prior to the seventh being poured out. Because the six preceding vials were needed to destroy the religious hypocrisy that was being used in people’s lives to cover up their disobedience.

Once hypocrisy is removed, disobedience has no false covering anymore for it’s sin, and so it is naked before the judgement truths of God’s Word. Then the soul experiences the greatest spiritual earthquake shaking they ever have experienced! And so in the next scripture it states:

“And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.” ~ Revelation 16:18

The voices represent the preaching of the gospel that thunders with authority and produces brilliant spiritual light liken unto lightning. And it is this vial of wrath judgement preaching that shakes the soul to the core as they come face to face with their spiritual condition before Almighty God! That is why in the previous scripture it shows us that this voice saying “it is done” comes from the very throne of God. There is great authority behind the voice when you know God is speaking to your spiritual condition! It is also the mercy of God to give you the opportunity to repent of both of your sins and of your false religious covering.
