Earlier in Revelation the 17th chapter, the fake-Christian spirit of the unfaithful harlot Babylon was shown to be sitting upon the waters and upon the beast. This means she exercises control over both.

“…Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.” ~ Revelation 17:1 & 3

Sitting upon the beast means that false-Christianity leadership (especially shown through the geo-political power of the Catholic Church and the Papacy) has a controlling influence over the beast like governments and kingdoms of the world. So it only makes sense that this false-Christian leadership also has control through the hearts of many people. How else could it have influence over the leaders of the nations?

And so later in Revelation 17 we read:

"এবং তিনি আমাকে বললেন, যে জল তুমি দেখেছ, যেখানে বেশ্যা বসে আছে, তা হল জাতি, গোষ্ঠী, জাতি এবং ভাষা।" ~ প্রকাশিত বাক্য 17:15

Waters here represent people with a sinful, carnal (or fleshly lust-driven) nature that are influenced and seduced by hypocrisy. Therefore in other scriptures, waters as a symbol represent people with evil hearts.

• “But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.” ~ Isaiah 57:20-21
• “অনেক লোকের জন্য ধিক্, যারা সমুদ্রের কোলাহলের মতো শব্দ করে; এবং জাতিদের ছুটে চলার দিকে, যারা শক্তিশালী জলের ছুটে চলার মত ছুটে আসে! জাতিগুলি অনেক জলের ছুটে চলার মত ছুটে আসবে; কিন্তু ঈশ্বর তাদের তিরস্কার করবেন, এবং তারা অনেক দূরে পালিয়ে যাবে, এবং বাতাসের সামনে পাহাড়ের তুষের মতো এবং ঘূর্ণিঝড়ের সামনে গড়িয়ে যাওয়া জিনিসের মতো তাড়া করা হবে।" ~ ইশাইয়া 17:12-13
• “Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.” ~ Psalm 65:7

The people (as waters) are shown being very unsettled and discontent as: troubled sea, rushing waters, nosy waves and tumultuous. And many carnal selfish-living people are also very unhappy with the hypocrisy of fake-Christianity. And so they also naturally will speak out against a religious hypocritical leadership, and often they express hatred towards them.

And so the governing influential leadership over the people (represented earlier as horns on the beast) are also shown as hating the fake-Christianity leadership that has control over them.

“And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.” ~ Revelation 17:16

This notion of “eat her flesh” shown in Revelation 17:16, is exactly what happened when the Old Testament type of the Babylon harlot, Jezebel, as she was thrown down from a tower, and the dogs ate her flesh. In symbolic type, the horns of the beast eat the flesh of the Babylon harlot.

“…This is the word of the LORD, which he spake by his servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, In the portion of Jezreel shall dogs eat the flesh of Jezebel: And the carcass of Jezebel shall be as dung upon the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel; so that they shall not say, This is Jezebel.” ~ 2 Kings 9:36-37

This is all part of God’s final judgement upon hypocrisy. And so later in Revelation chapter 18 we see a final judgement by God placed upon this hypocrisy condition called “Babylon.”

“How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.” ~ Revelation 18:7-8

This fake-Christian church claims to be the queen of heaven, the bride of Christ. (Note: the queen of heaven is who the fallen and hypocritical children of Israel did also worship in the Old Testament before they were destroyed by ancient Babylon. See Jeremiah chapter 44.)

So also, especially in these final days, God is using the displeasure of even carnal people to bring judgement upon the hypocrisy of all fake religious leadership. And we see that happening in many ways as almost daily we hear of some heinous and corrupt crime being exposed by the news media. Especially as the leadership of the Catholic Church is being made accountable for many crimes perpetrated against women and innocent children.

“For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.” ~ Luke 8:17

These judgments exposing hypocrisy are all part of fulfilling the plan of God. In addition, it is also part of God’s final plan to have all Nations become part the final Beast: the United Nations.

“For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.” Revelation 17:17

And even though this Beast hates the spiritual whore Babylon, it is still allowing her to have a place of honor. The reason: because without a covering of hypocrisy for sin, a carnal sinner has no protection against the truth of the Word of God! Therefore earthly rulers must honor the Catholic Church (and other fake-Christian churches) so that they don’t offend the people who rely on these religious institutions. People love the fallen Christian organizations because they want false preachers and teachers to make them feel good in their sinful lives.

Without a religious covering for sin, people are extremely miserable when just a few simple scriptures expose their sin. Babylon (fake-Christianity) is their protection against the pure truth of the gospel.

“And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.” Revelation 17:18

Is fake-Christianity your covering for your sins? Or have you been made clean and holy by the cleansing power in the blood of Christ. Are you a hypocrite, or has Christ freed you from all sin? Are you living holy? Or are you spiritually still a part of the fleshly sinful beast of mankind?
