"और मैं ने उसके दाहिने हाथ में जो सिंहासन पर बैठा था, एक पुस्तक देखी जो भीतर और पीछे लिखी हुई थी, जिस पर सात मोहरें लगी हुई थीं।" ~ प्रकाशितवाक्य 5:1
What is in the “right hand” denotes that which is the most precious to the one on the throne. This reveals to us how important to God the sealed book is!
“A wise man’s heart is at his right hand; but a fool’s heart at his left.” (Ecclesiastes 10:2)
In the Psalms King David prophesied concerning Christ: “The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.” (Psalms 110:1, and referenced in the New Testament in the following scriptures: Matthew 22:44, Mark 12:36 Luke 20:42 Acts 2:34, 1 Corinthians 15:25, Hebrews 1:13)
“Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.” (Matthew 26:64 and see also Daniel 7:13)
Jesus is the Word that was made flesh, meaning he was the fulfillment of God’s Word on earth. That’s why both the Word (sealed seven times) and Jesus are at the right hand of God. (see John 1:10-14)
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made… …And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” ~ John 1:1-3 & 14
So where is your heart? Are your affections set in the same place where God’s are?
“If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” ~ Colossians 3:1-2
