Jesus is the “…Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.” ~ Revelation 5:6
As posted before, the Holy Spirit is one, but he works in such a very different way (like he did with the seven churches of Asia) that it seems as if it is a different spirit, but the scripture clearly instructs us that:
“Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.” ~ 1 Corinthians 12:4-6
Horns are a symbol of power (see 2 Chronicles 18:9-11 and Daniel 8:5-7).
Spiritually the “eye” represents the desire of the heart (see Matthew 6:21-23 and Luke 11:34-36).
But here the horns and the eyes represent “the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth” meaning God’s Holy Spirit with all power in every age of time and with complete understanding to see what is in the heart of men and women in every age of time. This is why the Lamb is in the midst of the throne and at the right hand of Almighty God!
"यहोवा की दृष्टि सब स्थानों पर लगी रहती है, कि वह भले बुरे को भी देखे।" ~ नीतिवचन 15:3
The Spirit of God is the supreme power that Jesus and his salvation has been anointed with in every Church age! (See comments on Revelation 1:4) Consequently, when we fully turn away from sin and serve Jesus, we become “more than conquerors”! We have the Holy Spirit eyes of desire and lamb horns of power! Even though we are “accounted as sheep for the slaughter” through Jesus our mighty captain, we also are “more than conquerors through him that loved us”. And nothing “shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
And the Holy Spirit power within us sends us “forth into all the earth” to proclaim the kingdom of Jesus Christ!
Because of his sacrifice for us, we have the sacrificial love of God within our hearts. Therefore we also are willing to be a sacrifice for him, his work, and his cause. He deserves all the honor and praise for this, for only he could have changed us and provided the great grace for us to be able to bear the sufferings!
